If the Flash memory space is insufficient, proceed as follows:
1. If the MPU has no CF card, upgrade the BootROM first and then remove part of program files in
the Flash memory (it is recommended to remove some unused host program files). After that, FTP
the new host program to the Flash memory of the switch, and then finish the host program upgrade.
2. If the MPU has CF card, FTP the host program and BootROM to the CF card of the switch, and
then finish the upgrade for the BootROM and host program.
Upgrade MPU BootROM
Both the master MPU BootROM and the slave MPU BootROM need to be upgraded. Suppose that
slot 0 holds the master MPU and slot 1 holds the slave MPU.
<SW8800> boot bootrom LSBSRP1N01303.APP slot 0
This will update BootRom file on board 0 . Continue? [Y/N] y

Before upgrading MPU BootROM, you need to download the MPU BootROM program file
LSBSRP1N01303.APP. In the process of upgrading BootROM, it is not allowed to power off the
switch or the board being upgraded; otherwise the board will fail to reboot.
Upgrade LPU BootROM
The LPU BootROM in slot 3 need to be upgraded:
