If there is CF card or enough Flash memory
The host program issued with the L3PLUS board includes 88h03_01_32s256rc13.app. You can set
the latter one as the startup program of the MPU for next startup. The L3PLUS board can be
upgraded as ordinary interface boards. For detailed information about MPU host program upgrade,
refer to the previous sections.
If there is not enough space in the Flash memory
Delete some file in CF card, then put the 88h03_01_32s256rc13.app into CF card, then upgrade the
host program of the MPU with 88h03_01_32s256rc13.app.
Reboot the Switch
Reboot the switch to make the new host program take effect. (Be sure to save configuration referring
to 8.3 Upgrade Configuration Files before rebooting the switch, as it may cause lose of
configurations).
<SW8800> reboot
This command will reboot the system. Continue? [Y/N] y
Local Upgrading
MPU BootROM Upgrading
Reboot the MPU
Login the switch through the console port and reboot the MPU. (Be sure to save configuration
referring to 8.3 Upgrade Configuration Files before rebooting the switch, as it may cause lose of
configurations).

Download BootROM Program File
After MPU BootROM restarts, the system prompts ‘Press Ctrl+B to enter Boot Menu...5’. Press
<Ctrl+B> to enter the main menu of BootROM (By default, press Enter for the password):
MAIN MENU
1. Boot with default mode
2. Boot from Flash
3. Boot from CF card
4. Enter serial submenu
5. Enter ethernet submenu
6. Modify Flash description area
