【Upgrade】It is required to load the BootROM upgrade file to the Flash memory before you upgrade
the BootROM version of the MPU through BootROM menu. Otherwise, BootROM upgrade file may
not be specified during the upgrade process.

【Upgrade】 BootROM upgrade may be failed if the BootROM file name (including path) exceeds 56
characters.
Limitation 48
【RPR】Class A packet congestion on GE RPR may affect the forwarding of Class C packets,
because two sub-rings of a GE RPR share the same back pressure signaling, and one sub-ring's
back pressure signal may be applied to the other sub-ring.

【RRPP】In the case that two nodes in the RRPP ring are connected through two or more Layer 2
transparent transmission devices, the RRPP nodes cannot detect link interruption or recovery in real
time, but can detect such phenomena by time-out mechanism.
Limitation 50
【OAA】The service VLAN cannot configure as PVID of the inline port on OAA board. Otherwise, the
flow in this VLAN will fail to transmit.
Limitation 51
【MSTP】When the VRRP groups are more than 25 in MSTP networking, the MSTP time-factor is
suggested to configure as 6. Otherwise, MSTP constringency time will be longer in the MPU
switchover.
