Upgrade L3PLUS BootROM
The BootROM upgrading method for the L3PLUS board is the same as that for other LPUs.
<SW8800> boot bootrom LSBLMCUF02303.APP slot 5

L3PLUS boards include three types: 3C17542, 3C17548. Before upgrade, you need to download the
program file LSBLMCUF02303.APP. In the process of upgrading the BootROM, it is not allowed to
power off the switch or the board being upgraded; otherwise the board will fail to reboot.
Upgrade Host Program
Specify the new downloaded program as the host program of the MPU:
<SW8800> boot boot-loader primary flash:/88h03_01_32s256rec13.app
The specified file will be booted next time!
If the device has double MPU, you need to copy the host program to the slave MPU and specify the
new downloaded program as the host program of the slave MPU:
<SW8800> copy 88h03_01_32s256rec13.app slot1#flash:/ 88h03_01_32s256rec13.app
<SW8800> boot boot-loader primary slot1#flash:/ 88h03_01_32s256rec13.app slot 1
Upgrade L3PLUS Host Program
L3PLUS boards including 3C17542, 3C17548 boards. To upgrade the host program of L3PLUS
boards, it is required to use specific command to download the host program to the memory if the
MPU Flash memory cannot provide sufficient space to store the host program.
If there is CF card or enough Flash memory
The host program issued with the L3PLUS board includes 88h03_01_32s256rec13.app. You can set
the latter one as the startup program of the MPU for next startup. The L3PLUS board can be
upgraded as ordinary interface boards. For detailed information about MPU host program upgrade,
refer to the previous sections.
