Configuring Local Port
Mirroring
Configuration prerequisites
■ The source port is specified and whether the packets to be mirrored are
inbound or outbound is specified.
■ The destination port is specified.

Create a local port mirroring
group

Enter Ethernet port view of
the destination port

Define the current port as the
destination port
mirroring-group group-id

LACP must be disabled on the
mirroring destination port and
you are recommended to
disable STP on the mirroring
destination port.
Exit current view quit -
Enter Ethernet port view of
the source port

Configure the source port and
specify the direction of the
packets to be mirrored

mirroring-port { both |
inbound | outbound }
