There are two or more rings in the network topology and only one common node
exists between each pair of rings. In this case, one RRPP domain must be defined
for each ring.
Intersectant ring networking

There are two or more rings in the network topology and two common nodes
exist between each pair of rings. In this case, only one RRPP domain is to be
defined, in which one ring must be defined as the primary ring and the rest as
subrings.
