The configuration files are displayed in their corresponding saving formats.
Modifying and Saving
the
Current-Configuration
You can modify the current configuration of the switch through the CLI. Use the
save command to save the current-configuration in the Flash Memory, and the
configurations will become the saved-configuration when the system is powered
on for the next time.
Perform the following configuration in user view.
Even if the problems like reboot and power-off occur during , the configuration
file can be still saved to Flash.
Erasing Configuration
Files from Flash Memory
The reset saved-configuration command can be used to erase configuration
files from Flash Memory. The system will use the default configuration parameters
for initialization when the switch is powered on for the next time.
Perform the following configuration in user view.
You may erase the configuration files from the Flash in the following cases:
■ After being upgraded, the software does not match with the configuration
files.
■ The configuration files in flash are damaged. (A common case is that a wrong
configuration file has been downloaded.)
