420 CHAPTER 23: IKE CONFIGURATION COMMANDS
Description
Use the local command to configure the subnet type in IKE negotiation.
Use the undo local command to restore the default subnet type. You can use this
command to enable interoperability between the router and a Netscreen device.
The default is single-subnet.
Example
# Set the subnet type in IKE negotiation to multiple.

local-address Syntax
local-address ip-address
undo local-address

Parameter
ip-address: IP address of the local GW in IKE negotiation.
Description
Use the local-address command to configure the IP address of the local GW in
IKE negotiation.
Use the undo local-address command to delete the IP address of the local GW.
Normally, you do not need to configure the local-address command, unless you
want to specify a special address for the local GW.
Example
# Set the IP address of the local GW to 1.1.1.1.
