Note:
The switch can automatically generate the main attributes (NAS-ID, NAS-IP address
and session ID) in the Accounting-On packets. You can also manually configure the
NAS-IP address with the nas-ip command. If you choose to manually configure this
attribute, be sure to configure an appropriate and legal IP address. If this attribute is not
configured, the switch will automatically use the IP address of the VLAN interface as
the NAS-IP address.

Parameters
None
Description
Use the accounting optional command to enable the accounting-optional function.
Use the undo accounting optional command to disable the accounting-optional
function so that users are charged forcibly.
By default, once an ISP domain is created, the accounting-optional function is disabled.
When the system charges an online user but it does not find any available RADIUS
accounting server or fails to communicate with any RADIUS accounting server, the
user can continue the access to network resources if the accounting optional
command has been used.
