LED Status Description
ON The fan tray is faulty or is not installed yet.
FAIL (Red)
OFF The fan tray works normally.
If the OK LED is off, check whether:
z Each fan works normally.
z Something blocks the vents of the chassis.
z A blank panel is installed in the slot without a board.
8.4 Troubleshooting SRPUs and LPUs
The SRPG LEDs and LPUx (x ranges from 1 to 6 for the S7506 and S7506R, and from
1 to 3 for the S7503) LEDs respectively show the status of the SRPU and LPU.

LED Status Description
ON/OFF The board is faulty or is not installed yet.
RUN (Green)
Blinking The board works normally.
OFF The board is faulty or is not installed yet.
ALM (Red)
ON The board works abnormally.
z If the ALM LED of a board is solid on, something is wrong with the board. When
you reset a board, the ALM LED will be on, but will be off after it is started to work
normally.
z When you reset a board, if the ALM LED stays off, the board may be disconnected
from the power supply. Check whether the board is properly installed.
