Caution:
z You must enable PIM on the interface before configuring the igmp proxy command.
Otherwise, the IGMP proxy feature does not take effect.
z One interface cannot serve as the proxy interface for two or more interfaces.
z When you configure the IP address of the interface that will serve as an IGMP proxy,
make sure that the IP address is not the lowest on this subnet to prevent this
interface from being elected as the IGMP querier on the subnet, as this will result in
failure of multicast data forwarding.
VIII. Removing joined IGMP groups from an interface
Follow these steps to remove joined IGMP groups from an interface:

The reset command
available in user view.
Caution:
After a multicast group is removed from an interface, hosts attached to interface can
join the multicast group again.
