H3C S7500E Series Ethernet Switches Chapter 3 QoS Policy Configuration
3-7
Note:
In a QoS policy with multiple class-to-traffic-behavior associations, if the action of
creating an outer VLAN tag, the action of setting customer network VLAN ID, or the
action of setting service provider network VLAN ID is configured in a traffic behavior, we
recommend you not to configure any other action in this traffic behavior. Otherwise, the
QoS policy may not function as expected after it is applied.
3.2.5 Applying a Policy
You can apply a QoS policy in different views as follows:
z In port or port group view, the policy applies to the inbound or outbound direction
of an interface or a group of interfaces;
z In VLAN view, the policy applies to the inbound or outbound direction of a VLAN;
z In system view, the policy applies to the inbound or outbound direction of all ports
globally.
I. Applying the QoS policy to a port/port group
A policy can be applied to multiple ports. Only one policy can be applied in one direction
(inbound or outbound) of a port/port group.
Follow these steps to apply the QoS policy to a port/port group:
