software images, and patch files for upgrade from the CLI.
Upgrade software from the CLI
CAUTION:
Make sure that the .app file exists in the root directory of the storage medium of the active MPU and the
standby MPU.
Perform the following tasks as needed:
• Upgrade Boot ROM
• Upgrade system software
• Install patches
1. Upgrade Boot ROM
# Upgrade the Boot ROM for the active MPU in slot 0.
<Sysname> bootrom update file flash:/newest.app slot 0
