CAUTION:
• To prevent configuration loss, save the latest configuration changes before you reboot the switch.
• System software images must be saved in the root directory of the storage medium. You can copy or
move system software images to the root directory. For more information about the boot-loader

3. Install patches
# Download the patch files to the root directory of the storage medium of the active MPU and that of the
standby MPU, and then install the patch files with the patch install command.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] patch install flash:
Patches will be installed. Continue? [Y/N]:y
Do you want to continue running patches after reboot? [Y/N]:y
Installing patches........
Installation completed, and patches will continue to run after reboot.
NOTE:
• A patch file must have a valid name. Otherwise, the system cannot identify and install it. Table 10
shows the default names of patch files.
