2 Version Usage Limitations and Important Notes
1. Limitation 1
PING Before transmission, big packets are fragmented by MTU (Maximum
Transmission Unit), and S9500 will give no response until all the fragments reach. To
protect the CPU against shocks, the rate of traffic sent to the CPU for processing is
restricted. For this reason, when a fragment of the packet is discarded by the CPU,
the big packet used to PING may be dropped.
2. Limitation 2
Link AggregationUpon trans-board link-aggregation, the board with members of
the link-aggregation group cannot be pulled out or inserted back. If the board is pulled
out, there will be flow interruption for a short period of time. And when the board is
inserted back, there will be much more serious flow interruption during the restoration
of configuration.
3. Limitation 3
Link Aggregation ACL rules cannot be repeatedly deleted and applied on a port ,
which is the member of a trans-board link-aggregation group. Otherwise, ACL rules
may fail to be applied on the port, and the port will exit the link-aggregation group.
