8.1.7 Reboot the Switch
Reboot the switch to make the new host program take effect. (Be sure to save
configuration referring to 8.3 Upgrade Configuration Files before rebooting the switch,
as it may cause lose of configurations).
<H3C> reboot
This command will reboot the system. Continue? [Y/N] y
8.2 Local Upgrading
8.2.1 MPU BootROM Upgrading
1. Reboot the MPU
Login the switch through the console port and reboot the MPU. (Be sure to save
configuration referring to 8.3 Upgrade Configuration Files before rebooting the switch,
as it may cause lose of configurations).
<H3C> reboot
This command will reboot the system. Continue? [Y/N] y
2. Download BootROM Program File
After MPU BootROM restarts, the system prompts ‘Press Ctrl+B to enter Boot
Menu...5’. Press <Ctrl+B> to enter the main menu of BootROM (By default, press
Enter for the password):
