Switch 7700 V2.00 Release Notes
RELEASE ISSUES FOR THE SWITCH 7700 V2.0
sending, the messages are not received.
In addition, The Switch 7700 does not
forward multicast packets to the default
querier.
The Switch 7700 IGMP query timer is set
to 60 seconds (the standard is 125
seconds). If other systems on the network
are set to 125 seconds, after 60 x 2
seconds, the Switch 7700 thinks that the
querier is no longer on the network and it
tries to reelect a new querier by sending
an IGMP query packet.
Set the IGMP query timer to match the timers on
other systems on the network using the igmp timer
query command from the IP interface view. The
recommended setting is 125 seconds
2.5. Qos/ACL
Symptom Solution
The QoS prompt appears to have a
spelling error.
Use the qoss menu.
2.6. STP

view (interface ether1/0/1), use the stp cost
command to set the port cost to the desired value.
2.7. AAA and Radius
Symptom Solution
802.1x only works in conjunction with
DHCP.
Make sure that the authenticating station is using

enabled.
