Software Support for XENPAK Optics
Hewlett-Packard offers and supports only XENPAK optics that include an HP label (product number J8173A,
J8175A, or J8176A) for use with the J8174A HP ProCurve 9300 2-port 10 GbE Module. Use of other brands of
optics or the use of HP-labeled XENPAK optics in non-HP devices is not supported.
HP periodically updates the software and documentation for the HP ProCurve Routing Switch 9300 Series
products. For the latest software and publications versions for your 9304M, 9308M, or 9315M routing switch
