Installing the Modules
Status LEDs
There are two status LEDs:
PoE - lights when PoE power is being supplied to one or more PDs. It goes
out when there are no valid loads attached to any of the ports. It will blink
to indicate an error on any of the ports or when any port is denied PoE
power.
EPS - lights when the module is connected to a 600 RPS/EPS or a 610 EPS.
It goes out when the 600 RPS/EPS or 610 EPS is disconnected from the
module. It blinks when there is an error on the 600 RPS/EPS or 610 EPS
or it is over-subscribed, more PoE power is needed than the 600 RPS/EPS
or 610 EPS can supply.
LED Mode LEDs
The Std or PoE LED lights depending on which mode has been selected by
pressing the LED Mode button.
If the Std LED lights, the Link and Mode Port LEDs display information as
listed in the previous table.
If the PoE Mode LED lights:
The Link LED is on, indicating there is a valid 10base-T or 100base-TX
connection.
The Mode LED is on, indicating that the port is providing PoE power.
The Mode LED is off, indication that the port is not providing PoE power.
