This section describes the command you can use to configure a static route.
ip route-static
default-preference
Syntax
ip route-static default-preference default_preference_value

Parameter
default-preference-value: The default preference value of static routes, which
will be the preference value of the static route if its preference is not specified
when configured. Its default value is 60.
Description
Use the ip route-static default-preference command to configure the
default preference value of static routes.
When configuring a static route, the default preference is set by this command.
Related commands: display ip routing-table, ip route-static.
Example
Configure the default preference of static routes as 120.

Descriptor Meaning
Holddown The number of holddown routes.
This refers to a route advertising policy that some distance vector routing
protocols (such as RIP) use in order to avoid expansion of error routes and to
improve the transmission speed and accuracy of unreachable routes. It
usually advertises a route fixedly at an interval no matter what changes have
happened to the routes to the same destination, which have been learned
actually. For details, please refer to the specific routing protocol.
Delete The number of deleted routes.
Hidden The number of hidden routes, that is routes not available at present but still
required. They can be hidden for future use.
