Description
Use the stp region-configuration command to enter MST region view.
Use the undo stp region-configuration command to restore the default
MSTP region configurations.
By default, the three MST region parameters take the default values. The MST
region name of the switch is the first MAC address, all the VLANs are mapped to
CIST, and MSTP revision level takes 0.
You can enter MST region view, using the stp region-configuration command.
And then you can configure the parameters including region name, revision level,
and VLAN mapping table of the region.

Description
Use the stp root-protection command to enable Root protection the
switch.
Use the undo stp root-protection command to restore the default state of
Root protection.
By default, Root protection is disabled.
In case of configuration error or malicious attack, the legal primary root may
receive the BPDU with a higher priority and then loose its place, which causes
network topology change errors. Due to the illegal change, the traffic supposed to
travel over the high-speed link may be pulled to the low-speed link and congestion
will occur on the network.
