Example
To display the current setting of the dynamic ARP aging timer, enter the following:
[SW7700] display arp timer aging
The information displays in the following format:

reset arp Syntax
reset arp [ dynamic | static | interface interface_type
interface_number ]

dynamic: Enter to clear the dynamic ARP mapping entries. Note that dynamic
ARP entries start re-learning immediately.
static: Enter to clear the static ARP mapping entries. Note that static ARP entries
are deleted permanently.
interface interface_type interface_number: Enter to clear the ARP
mapping entries for the specified. port.
Description
Using the reset arp command, you can remove information that is no longer
required from the ARP mapping table. You can remove entries of a specified type,
or from a specified port.
Use the reset arp command to clear all ARP entries. You are asked to confirm
this entry.
Use the reset arp dynamic command to clear all dynamic ARP entries.
Use the reset arp static command to clear all static ARP entries.
Use the display arp interface command to clear all entries for the
specified port.
