Rebooting All the Units in the Stack
You can reboot all the Switch units in the stack using the Reboot window.
To access the window:
1. Click Device View on the Toolbar.
2. Select System -> Control -> Reboot in the Navigation Tree.
3. The following window is displayed.
4. To reboot the stack, click OK.
What Happens During a Reboot?
Rebooting the Switch units in the stack simulates a power-off/on cycle. You may want to
do this if you need to:
Remove all the learned entries in the Switch Database (SDB).
Reset the statistic counters of the stack.
CAUTION: Rebooting the stack causes some of the traffic being transmitted over
the network to be lost. It also clears all Learned entries from the Switch Database.
The stack takes about 10 s to reboot. While the stack is rebooting, you cannot
communicate with it.
