Displaying Authentication Attempts
You can display the results of the last five login attempts for each of the following
categories: local accepts, local rejects, RADIUS accepts, and RADIUS rejects, for a total of
20 login entries for the Switch using the logins command on the authentication menu.
Five entries will be shown per screen and you will be prompted to enter <CR> to
continue to display more attempts.
If there are no entries, or less then five entries for a particular category, the display
will be decreased by that many entries. For example, if there are no local rejects, the
display will have 15 entries, or if there are no local rejects and only one local accept, the
display will show only 11 entries.
This command is not available on the SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 SE. To make RADIUS
authentication of Switch Management Login available on the SuperStack 3 Switch 4400
SE, upgrade the product to the Switch 4400 SE Enhanced Software Upgrade (3C17207).
To display the authentication login attempts for the Switch:
From the Top-level menu, enter:
security device authentication logins
The authentication login attempts for the Switch are displayed as shown in the
example below.
