security radius accounting modify
Modifying the RADIUS Accounting Configuration
You can modify the RADIUS accounting configuration for the Switch using the modify
command on the accounting menu.
You can configure a primary and secondary accounting server address.
To modify the RADIUS accounting configuration for the Switch:
1. From the Top-level menu, enter:
security radius accounting modify
The following prompt is displayed:
Enter primary accounting server IP address [0.0.0.0]:
2. Enter the IP address of the RADIUS server that you wish to identify as the primary
accounting server.
The following prompt is displayed:
Enter primary accounting server UDP port number (?)[1813]:
3. Enter the UDP port number on the primary accounting server. Valid ports are 1-
65535. A value of 0 disables usage of this server.
The following prompt is displayed:
Enter secondary accounting server IP address [0.0.0.0]:
4. Enter the IP address of the RADIUS server that you wish to identify as the
secondary accounting server.
The following prompt is displayed:
Enter secondary accounting server UDP port number (?)[1813]:
5. Enter the UDP port number on the secondary accounting server. Valid ports are 1-
65535. A value of 0 disables usage of this server.
The following prompt is displayed:
Select accounting action on failure (ignore,reject) [reject]:
This prompt allows you to determine how the Switch will respond if an accounting
session cannot be started. You can enter ignore so the associated login attempt
failure will be ignored and access will be granted, or you can enter reject so that
the failure is treated as an authentication reject and will disallow access to that
user.
