RADIUS Problems
You have been automatically logged out of the management
interface of the Switch.
Either:
If you enable Port Security on the Switch via the Security >
Network > Access > System Mode Web interface operation, all
traffic to and from the port that you are connected to will stop,
except for Network Login protocol messages. You will have to
complete a successful Network Login, or access the Web interface
via a different port in order to regain access to the Web interface.
If you enable RADIUS on the Switch via the security device
authentication systemMode CLI command, you will not be
automatically logged out. When you have logged out, you will
have to login again using RADIUS authentication to regain access
to the CLI.
If you enable RADIUS on the Switch via the Security > Device >
Authentication > System Mode Web interface operation, you will
be immediately prompted for a RADIUS username and password.
If you are unable to provide one, or the RADIUS server is
unreachable, you will be unable to continue using the Web
interface at that time and must access the management interface
via a console port connection, where fallback to local
authentication is available. You should only enable RADIUS via
the Web interface if you are certain you have connectivity to a
RADIUS server and that you have a valid RADIUS username and
password.
You logged into the management interface of a Switch in the
stack using RADIUS authentication. You will be automatically
logged out of the management interface if a unit is added to or
removed from the stack. You will have to login again to regain
access to the management interface.
A unit has been added to the stack and the configuration of all
other units has been overwritten.
When RADIUS is operating on a stack, you must ensure that a unit that
is being added to the stack does not have an IP address configured.
Otherwise the configuration of all existing units in the stack may be
overwritten with the configuration of the newly added unit, which may
be invalid or even blank. Only add a unit to an operating RADIUS
stack if the unit does not have an IP address configured.
RADIUS is enabled on the stack and you cannot login to the Web
interface.
If a mixed version stack is being used (some units supporting RADIUS
and some not supporting RADIUS), and RADIUS is enabled, the Web
interface cannot be used to manage the stack. You must either upgrade
all units to the same software version or disable RADIUS on the stack.
The Web interface can be only used to manage a mixed version stack if
RADIUS is disabled.
