Hardware Installation
The HP AllianceONE Services zl Module for Avaya Aura™ Session Border
Controller powered by Acme Packet is designed to run in an HP 5400zl or
8200zl Series switch. Table 2-1 lists the tasks that you perform to get the HP
Extended Services zl Module up and running so that you can begin the initial
configuration process (as outlined in Chapter 3: “Getting Started”).
If the HP zl switch has already been installed, move to “Update the Switch
Software” on page 2-3.

Hardware Overview
The HP Extended Services zl Module requires two vertically adjacent slots in
a 5400zl or 8200zl switch chassis. For a description of the module’s front panel
buttons and LEDs, which are identified in Figure 2-1, see Table C-1 on page
