Initial Switch Configuration
At this point, the HP Extended Services zl Module, with the pre-installed
System Platform, should be installed in an HP 5400zl or 8200zl Series switch.
This section guides you through the next steps that must be completed before
you can begin configuring the Avaya Aura™ Session Border Controller Appli-
cation (SBC):
■ “Ensure the HP zl Switch Recognizes the HP Extended Services zl Module”
on page 3-1
■ “Configuring SBC Public and Private Interfaces” on page 3-2
Note To complete these steps, you must have management access to the HP zl
switch in which the Extended Services zl Module is installed. If you are not in
charge of managing the switch, give the sections below to the HP switch
administrator.
Ensure the HP zl Switch Recognizes the HP Extended
Services zl Module
You should first ensure that the HP zl switch recognizes that the Extended
Services zl Module is installed. From the switch CLI, enter the following
command:
hostswitch# show modules
