You will see output similar to the following:
Status and Counters – Module Information
Chassis: 5406zl J8697A Serial Number: SG841SU0RI
Management Module: J8726A Serial Number: ID839AS0F6
Slot Module Description Serial Number

Notice that output shows the Extended Services zl Module (ProCurve
J9567A ONE Ext Svs zl Module) in slot C and slot A is an expansion
slot (>Module C Extension Slot) for this module. For the purposes of
the HP zl switch CLI, the module is in slot C.
If the HP zl Switch does not recognize the Extended Services zl Module, ensure
that the switch is running software version K.14.60. Enter:
hostswitch# show version
If the switch software needs to be updated, see “Update the Switch Software”
on page 2-3 in Chapter 2: “Hardware Installation.”
Configuring SBC Public and Private Interfaces
The Avaya Aura™ Session Border Controller Application requires both a
Public interface, used by a SIP Services Provider, and a Private interface, used
by your private network.
Internal Ports on the HP Extended Services zl Module
The Extended Services zl Module is connected to the HP zl switch through
two internal 10GbE ports. In the switch CLI, these ports are identified by the
slot in which the Extended Services zl Module is installed:
■ <slot>1
■ <slot>2
For the Extended Services zl Module (which uses two vertically adjacent slots
in the HP zl switch), use the letter of the bottom slot. For example, if the
Extended Services zl Module is installed in slots A and C, the internal ports
are C1 and C2.
