Getting Started Guide for Wireless EDGE Services xl Modules 2007-07

Introduction
Two Redundant Wireless Services xl Modules may not be used together
to form a Redundancy Group.
A Redundancy Group member can be in ’Active’ or ’Standby’ mode. All
’Active’ members actively adopt the radio ports and load-balance among
the radio ports, up to the group’s authorization level. All ’Standby’
members adopt radio ports only when an ’Active’ member fails or a radio
port has not been adopted by any Module in the network. The recom-
mended configuration for a Redundancy Group is one Active member and
one Standby member.
An example of setting up a Redundancy Group is provided in this document.
For detailed information on Redundancy Group configuration and operation,
please refer to the ProCurve Module Management and Configuration Guide.
