Service OS Command-Line Reference
Overview
Note: The commands described in this section are only available when the Service
OS has been booted as described in “Booting the Service OS” on page 3-5.
This chapter describes the commands provided by the command line interface
(CLI) for the HP Advanced Services zl Module with Citrix XenServer
TM
(J9747A).
This CLI is intended for basic monitoring and initial IP configuration. Most
management and configuration should be performed using the XenServer
interfaces as described in previous chapters of this guide.
The CLI is context-based; different commands are available from different
contexts. When you are managing the module and you try to use a command
that is not supported from the current context, you will receive an error
message.
Depending on your level of access in the host HP zl switch (operator or
manager), you access the module operator or Manager EXEC context.
