Service OS Command-Line Reference
Overview
Syntax: show services <slot ID> details
Vertical bars ( | ) separate alternative, mutually exclusive elements.
Square brackets ( [ ] ) indicate optional elements.
Braces ( < > ) enclose required elements.
Angle brackets within square brackets ( [ < > ] ) indicate a required element
within an optional choice.
Angle brackets within angle brackets ( < < > > ) indicate a required element
within a required choice.
All italics indicate variables for which you must supply a value when execut-
ing the command.
Some commands also include keywords, which are indicated in the command
type. For example, tech is a keyword for the services command.
CLI Help
Like the CLI for HP switches, the module CLI provides help that displays
command syntax, including explanations of commands and command
options.
List Available Commands
The CLI help provides several ways to display the options available in a
particular context.:
■ ?
■ Tab key
For example, to view the commands available at the module’s manager
context, you could type one of the following:
HP Switch# ?
or
HP Switch# [tab]
A list of commands available in the manager context would be displayed.
