Service OS Operator Context Commands
Service OS Operator Context Commands
The Service OS operator context allows restricted access to read-only com-
mands on the Service OS of the module.
To access this context, enter the following command from the host switch’s
operator-level context:
For example, if you want to enter the Service OS for the module in slot C, enter:
HP Switch> services c 1
To verify your location in the CLI, check the prompt. In the Service OS operator
context, the prompt is one of the following:
■ HP Switch(svcs-mod-<slot ID>:SvcOS)>
This is the prompt that is displayed if you have entered the Service OS CLI
and the Service OS is booted.
The commands in this section are the Service OS operator CLI commands with
the Service OS booted.
exit
The exit command moves you back to the host HP zl switch CLI.
Syntax: exit
This command is available from all contexts.
page
This command enables and disables page mode. In page mode, the terminal
output will pause when it fills the screen and wait for a keystroke such as
space or [Ctrl][C].
Syntax: services <slot ID> 1
Moves you to an OS context on the module.
Replace <slot ID> with the letter for the lower chassis slot in
which the module is installed. The Service OS context is
always assigned index number 1.
