Overview
This chapter describes the commands provided by the command line interface
(CLI) for the HP Advanced Services zl Module with Microsoft® Windows
Server 2008® R2.
This CLI is intended for basic monitoring and initial IP configuration. Most
management and configuration should be performed using the Remote Desk-
top as described in previous chapters of the guide.
The CLI is context-based; different commands are available from different
contexts. When you are managing the module and you try to use a command
that is not supported from the current context, you will receive an error
message.
The following sections introduce groups of commands that are available from
various CLI contexts.
Depending on your level of access in the host HP zl switch (operator or
manager), you access the module operator or Manager EXEC context. From
the Manager EXEC context, you can access the Windows administration
context, and from the Window administration context, you can access inter-
face contexts.
Table E-1. CLI Context Command Groups
Note that the module includes a Services OS and the ONE-App OS (for the
Windows Server 2008 R2 OS), each of which has its own CLI. This commands
for the Service OS are included at the end of this chapter.
