Manager EXEC Context Commands
If there are no other types of ONE Services zl Modules installed in the switch,
the host switch assigns the module the index number 2.
If other types of ONE Services zl Modules are also installed in the switch, the
host switch assigns the module and each ONE Services zl product a different
index number, based on the order in which each one boots. For example, if
you install the module and boot it first, the host HP zl switch assigns it the
index number 2. However, if you install another ONE Services zl Module first
and boot it, the host switch will assign the product running on that module
the index number 2. If the module is installed next and booted, the HP zl switch
will assign it the index number 3.
To view the index numbers, names, and their associated chassis slots, enter
the following command from the HP zl switch’s CLI:
hostzlswitch> show services
Table E-5 shows an example output for this command. In this example, the
host HP zl switch has assigned the module the index number 2.
Table E-5. CLI Display of Services
To access the manager context for the ONE-App OS on the module installed
in slots A and C, you would one of the following commands:
hostzlswitch# services c 2
hostzlswitch# services c name hp-svcs-std
Table E-6 provides an example of a host switch that is running:
■ DCM on a ONE Services zl Module
■ Branch Core Services-Standard
On this host switch, DCM was installed and booted first, so the host switch
assigned it index number 2. It then assigned the module index number 3.
