Access the Module using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)
3. If you have accessed the server running on your module through the
module’s management port, you should verify that the server has the
correct IP address on your network.
Generally, this IP address should be assigned to the Local Area Connec-
tion interface that is associated with the <slot>2 internal port. If your
company uses DHCP to assign fixed addresses to servers, verify that this
interface has received the correct address.
If you need to set a static IP address, follow the standard procedure for
specifying IP addresses on a Windows Server 2008 R2 interface:
a. Right-click the Local Area Connection that you determined is associ-
ated with <slot>2.
b. Click Properties. The Local Area Connection Properties window is dis-
played.

c. To set an IPv4 address, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and
click Properties.
d. Select Use the following address.
e. Specify the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway IP address.
