Branch Office Solutions with the Advanced Services zl Module with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
Solutions Overview
Solutions Overview
This guide describes four solutions that demonstrate how you can deploy the
HP Advanced Services zl Module with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2. On
its own, the module hosts critical applications and delivers all of the basic
Windows services required at a branch. When deployed with the other HP
products listed in the table, the module becomes a powerful part of branch
solutions for WAN link optimization, wireless services, unified communica-
tions, and network authentication and access control.
These solutions present only a few examples of ways in which you can deploy
the module. You can combine these solutions as required for your environment
as well as add any services to the module that are supported by Microsoft
Windows Server 2008 R2, Standard.
HP has tested the basic solutions; however, you should check Microsoft
guidelines to verify that the roles, features, and applications that you choose
to deploy will work with the number of users and level of utilization required
in your environment.
