HP Customer Support Services
The module fails to receive a DHCP address.
• Confirm that the switch port <slot-ID>2 is an untagged member of a
switch VLAN where a DHCP server can be reached. If not, from the
switch CLI mange/configure context, use this command,
vlan <ID> untagged <slot-ID >2 to move this port to the VLAN where the
DHCP server can be accessed.
• Next, restart the module by entering services <slot-ID> reload.
When the ESXi host module is running, a management interface IP
address should be available for use.
