Initial Setup for the HP ProCurve Manager Agent
Install PCM+
The PCM Agent also requires one of the following operating systems:
■ Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack (SP) 2
■ Microsoft Windows XP with SP 2 or SP 3
Windows Server 2003 provides better performance. You should use Windows XP for small
networks only.
If you do not already have a system that meets these hardware and software requirements, plan
to purchase what you do not have.
Follow these steps to install the PCM 3.0 Agent:
1. Launch the ProCurve Agent setup executable. The ProCurve Agent Setup Wizard is
displayed.
