14. Click Finish. The IKE policy is displayed in the VPN > IPsec > IKEv1 Policies window.
Create an IPsec Proposal for an L2TP over IPsec VPN
Follow these steps to configure an IPsec proposal for an L2TP over IPsec client-to-site IPsec
VPN:
1. In the left navigation bar of the Web browser interface, click VPN > IPsec.
2. Click the IPsec Proposals tab.

3. Click Add IPsec Proposal. The Add IPsec Proposal window is displayed.
4. For Proposal Name, type a unique, descriptive string of 1 to 10 alphanumeric characters.
The string must be unique to this proposal. For this example, type ESPTrans.
5. For Encapsulation Mode, select Transport Mode.
6. Configure settings that match one of the proposals configured by default on Windows XP
clients. See Table C-5.
