7. Scroll down (if necessary) and select Update Sensor.

8. In the right pane, specify the location of the update package file.
• If the file is on a server:
– Select Update is located on a remote server and is accessible by the sensor
– Select the appropriate transfer protocol
– Type URL (and any necessary user name)
• If the file is on your management station:
– Select Update is located on this client
– Browse to the file
9. Click Update Sensor.
10. Click OK. The new software is loaded.
If your
4200 Series Sensor is running version 5.1(3) or earlier software, you might see an
error message that the 6.0 update file is not a recognized type (older software versions do
not recognize the new file name format). You should ignore this error message and proceed
with the update.
Note that you will lose your connection to the sensor.
