server to back up or download files.

Using TFTP to upgrade software

This section describes how to upgrade system software by using TFTP.

Backing up the running system software image and configuration files

1. Perform the save command in any view to save the current configuration.

<Sysname> save

The current configuration will be written to the device. Are you sure? [Y/N]:y

Please input the file name(*.cfg)[cfa0:/startup.cfg]

(To leave the existing filename unchanged, press the enter key):

cfa0:/startup.cfg exists, overwrite? [Y/N]:y
