Note If an error occurs, make sure that a Domain or Enterprise Admin has com-
pleted the following tasks:
Added the SBM computer object with the same hostname that you are
using for the FQDN
Specified the SBM’s SPN with the same FQDN that you are using
(SPN=HOST/<FQDN>)
21. After the wizard has successfully published the topology, click Finish.
Create Routing and Normalization Rules
Next, create voice policies, routing rules, and dial plans for the branch site.
This task should also be completed by a CS Administrator.
This company wants to implement least-cost routing. Therefore, local Seattle
calls (area code 425) will be routed through the Seattle SBM, local Dallas calls
(area code 214) through the Dallas SBM, local Sacramento calls (area code
916) through the headquarters PSTN gateway, and all other calls locally.
Table 4-5 displays the voice policies, and Table 4-6 displays the associated
PSTN usages and routes.
