You must now create your site configurations. In this solution, you define each
branch with an SBM at its own site and assign the local subnets to that site.
This configuration will apply Media Bypass to calls that originate from the
same site as the PSTN gateway but not to calls that originate from other sites.
Thus, the remote calls use RTAudio encoding over the WAN links, conserving
bandwidth, but local calls use Media Bypass, which decreases the processing
load on the local SBM.
In this solution, the site for the data center and HQ is already defined. Table 4-7
displays the configuration for the new branch sites.
