SNMP MIBs
Verify that your SNMP solution has the correct MIBs for your SBM. The SBM
supports the following MIBs:
■ Microsoft/Windows OS MIBs
■ Intel NIC MIBs
■ Media Gateway MIBs
The sections below explain where you can obtain the appropriate MIBs.
Microsoft/Windows OS MIBs. You can find the Microsoft Windows OS
MIBs on the SBM by accessing it using RDP. They are stored in the C:\Win-
dows\System32 directory. You can identify them by the .mib file extension.
Microsoft might offer updates for these MIBs; refer to Microsoft for more
information.
Intel NIC MIBs. The current version for these MIBs is 15.5 (14.7 or later is
supported). You can obtain these MIBs (as well as updates for MIBs should
the Intel driver be updated) from Intel’s website. Look for and download the
Ethernet Connections CD; the MIBs are typically contained in the
APPS\SNMP\MIB folder of that download.
Media Gateway MIBs. The SBM also has MIBs for its Media Gateway,
which are stored in the SBM’s hard drive in the C:\Program Files\Hewlett-
Packard\SIP-PSTN Gateway\config\mibs directory. (You can access this direc-
tory using RDP.) These MIB files have a .txt extension.
The Media Gateway uses these MIBs:
■ SANGOMA-IF-MIB
■ GW-CALL-STATS-MIB
■ SANGOMA-IF-DECLARATION-MIB
The other files that you see are necessary for those MIBs to function.
If you update your Media Gateway software, check this directory for updates
to the MIBs.
