 Copy the upgrade file to the file server and correctly set the working directory on the

TFTP or FTP serv er.

 Mak e sure that the upgrade has minimal impact on the network services. During the

upgrade, the firewall card cannot provide any services.

Backing up the running system software image and configuration files
