Using FTP to upgrade software
This section describes how to upgrade syst em software by using FTP.
Backing up the running system software image and configuration files
1. Execute the save command in any view to save the current configuration.
<Sysname> save
The current configuration will be written to the device. Are you sure? [Y/N]:y
Please input the file name(*.cfg)[cfa0:/startup.cfg]
(To leave the existing filename unchanged, press the ent er key):

2. Execute the dir command in user view to identify the system software image and
configuration file names and verify that the CF card has sufficient space for the new
system software image.
