all HA clusters that are configured in NIM or imported into NIM after being
configured through the TMS zl Module CLI or Web browser interface.
Figure 1-4. TMS-High Availability Tab
This tab displays the following information for each HA cluster:
Cluster ID Number used to identify the cluster (1-16). Cluster IDs are not module
dependent, so each cluster in a network must be assigned a unique
ID number.
Cluster Scheme How the cluster is used:
Active-Standby: The cluster Master handles data processing, and the
Participant acts as a passive backup to the Master.
Multicast IP Multicast IP address (224.0.0.18 for the default HA data protocol) used
by both modules in the cluster. Both modules in the cluster share this
same multicast IP address for HA communication.
Master Identifies the TMS zl Module that is the cluster Master.
Participant
Configured
Indicates whether a Participant TMS zl Module has been configured
for the cluster.
Last Updated Time The time stamp indicating the last time that the cluster was updated
or synchronized.
