Managing TMS zl Modules
Configuring High Availability Clusters
Note If you want the current Master module in a cluster to remain as the active
module with the current configuration, you must first cause a failover to the
Participant module (by booting the Master module) so that the Participant
module becomes the new Master module. Now when the Master module is
removed, it will actually be the prior Participant module, and the prior Master
module remains.

3. Ensure the displayed device properties identify the device you want to
remove from the cluster. Note that if a Participant module is present in
the cluster, removing the Master module also removes the IP address from
the Master. See the last step below for instructions on how to reassign a
new IP address to the former Master module. After this removal process,
the former Participant module will become the new Master module in the
cluster.
4. Click OK to remove the module from the cluster.
5. Due to TMS zl Module limitations, the TMS zl module loses its IP address
when removed from a cluster. However, if the cluster has a Master and a
Participant and the Master module is removed from the cluster, the IP
address is now available on the Participant module. The Participant
