Managing TMS zl Modules
Configuring High Availability Clusters
5. The Remove High Availability Cluster window displays the list of HA clusters
that NIM TMS management has detected.
Figure 1-36. Remove HA Cluster
6. Select the cluster to be removed and click OK.
7. A progress window is shown. When the cluster removal is completed,
Completed successfully will be shown for both of the modules. The cluster
removal process will be completed once the modules are rebooted.
8. Click Close to close the progress window.
9. The TMS zl Master module loses its IP address when removed from a
cluster, and it becomes unreachable. However, if the cluster has a Master
and a Participant and the Master module is removed from the cluster, the
IP address is now available on the Participant module. The Participant
module becomes reachable from NIM. If there is no Participant module,
the IP address is lost and the TMS zl module will be unreachable. Access
to the TMS zl module via NIM, the Web UI, or Telnet will not work. You
must telnet into the CLI of the switch where the TMS zl Module is inserted.
